(Matinas BioPharma or the Company) (OTCQB:MTNB), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on the development and commercialization of lipid-based prescription therapeutics for the treatment of fungal and bacterial infections, as well as metabolic/cardiovascular conditions, announced today that it will be presenting at the the 27th Annual ROTH Conference being held March 8-11, 2015, at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, in Dana Point, California.

Roelof Rongen, President and Chief Executive Officer, will present on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. Pacific Time (2:30 p.m. Eastern Time). Mr. Rongen will provide an overview of the Company's lead product candidates, MAT2203, a novel lipid-crystal nano-particle delivered formulation of Amphotericin B for the treatment of invasive fungal infections, and MAT9001, a prescription-only omega-3 fatty acid-based composition specifically designed for the treatment of severe hypertriglyceridemia.

Mr. Rongen will also discuss the plans for the Company's earlier stage development programs, MAT2501, a lipid-crystal nano-particle delivered formulation of Amikacin for the treatment of gram-negative bacterial infections, and MAT8800, a proprietary omega-3 discovery program for the treatment of fatty liver disease.
